XOBB Rules of Engagement

XOBB uses BloodBowl 3rd edition rules, with the following alterations:

And the following game play alterations:

Re-Rolls: For each veteran player on the team and in attendance at the game, the team gets one re-roll per half. They also get one additional re-roll per player with Crowd Appeal (see Skill Descriptions)

Kick-Offs: These have been abolished along with all other kicking rules.

Handoffs/Passes: Only one Handoff or Pass may occur per turn. .Any player may the ball to an adjacent player (no roll) as long as either both have already moved, or neither have yet moved. A player may only pass the ball, if they started the turn in possession of the ball.

Interceptions: If a player misses any ball thrown to the square he is in, any (and all) oppenents of the player missing the ball, that are in adjacent squares may attempt an intereception. If they are unsuccessful, any (and all) teammates of the original player may attempt to intercept the ball as well. If the ball is thrown to an unoccupied square, all opponents of the throwing player adjecent to that square may attempt to intercept the pass, followed by all players of the throwing team.

Fans/Fame: Fans only effect the game when the ball bounces into the stands. Then each player rolls one d6 and adds their Fame bonus (see campaign rules) to determine whose fans get the ball. Once a fan has a ball he will throw it at the closest player of his team (Fans have AG 2).
